Kyrie Irving Trade

On Friday, from the Brooklyn Nets Kyrie Irving demanded a trade. and all the news was on fire to know what has been sparked between the organization.

As per Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes, the Nets recently offered Irving a contract extension which includes a championship stipulation, & Kyrie Irving considers this a as “a big insult.”

Haynes didn’t share any clarity on what, exactly, this “championship stipulation” is all about. Reports earlier indicated that, with the final year of Brooklyn’s proposed contract, Irving has not been happy.

Whatever is the stipulation, Irving considers himself as a caliber of performer that shouldn’t have to mess with non-guaranteed years on a contract. He’s offended such an offer would even be made. So, he’s out. Well, at least he says he desires out.

This can all be a leverage play in the hopes that the Nets will consent to his expected contract against the fear of their season being blown to leftovers. It doesn’t sound like the Nets are tilted to be moved by such a tactic, particularly with teams already dubious on their part to trade for Irving. We’ll see how it bounces out. The trade deadline is 3 p.m. ET the following Thursday.
